This course describes the utilization of agroecological techniques for the
sustainable management of food production systems. The course content centers
around fundamental agroecological practices, strategies for nutrient
management, weed control, pest and disease management, agroecological
approaches within agro-pastoral systems, agroecological production systems,
practices aimed at bolstering farmers' resilience, and the design of ecological
agricultural systems.
